Claire is a 23 year old recent graduate of SUNY Purchase. She lives in Park Slope, Brooklyn, with her cat Fiona. She is currently working on her first novel in her off hours from her day job in Chelsea. She is a radical queer feminist, anti-assimilationist, and is passionate about writing, activism, and politics.

Welcome! This is a activist, social, and resource group for queer women in New York City.
We live in the biggest (and arguably, best) city in America. We should have the best nightlife, the biggest community, and more resources than any other city....but we don't. NYC's queer ladies have slim pickings when it comes to where to go on weekends, how to find other activists, and meeting new people without using craigslist.
I have created this website/mailing list to fill that void. You will be able to post your shows, lectures, protests and parties here. It will serve as a way to meet other people, put the word out about events, and as a community discussion board. This website is intended to be inclusive - we welcome all female identified, bodied, or allied people, including lesbians, bisexual women, trans women, trans men and anyone else in the community who would like to participate. I want this list to be by and for the community and everyone on the list will be able to participate as much or as little as they want.
Here's how it's gonna work. Join the mailing list by typing in your email at the upper left corner of the page. Now you're subscribed and you will begin to receive updates. I send out an update of the events for the next 7 days every Tuesday. So you will receive only one email a week, every week. If you would like to submit an event, please email me at claire@clairehenry.net. Every event, unless specifically marked as ONLY for mailing list members, will be cross posted to the website. This will ensure that we all have a comprehensive list to refer to so you don't have to save old emails. Furthermore, this will allow non-members to find out about events - that way we can get as many people as possible at our events! Postings can be about almost anything, including but not limited to:
