Claire is a 25 year old graduate of SUNY Purchase. She lives in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, with her cat Fiona. She is currently working on her first novel in her off hours from Bluestockings Bookstore on the Lower East Side. She is a radical queer feminist, anti-assimilationist, and is passionate about writing, activism, and politics.

Welcome! This is a activist, social, and resource group for queer women in New York City.
We live in the biggest (and arguably, best) city in America. We should have the best nightlife, the biggest community, and more resources than any other city....but we don't. NYC's queer ladies have slim pickings when it comes to where to go on weekends, how to find other activists, and meeting new people without using craigslist.
I have created this website/mailing list to fill that void. You will be able to post your shows, lectures, protests and parties here. It will serve as a way to meet other people, put the word out about events, and as a community discussion board. This website is intended to be inclusive - we welcome all female identified, bodied, or allied people, including lesbians, bisexual women, trans women, trans men and anyone else in the community who would like to participate. I want this list to be by and for the community and everyone on the list will be able to participate as much or as little as they want.
